A South Coast caravan holiday can mean a beachside base, a forest campsite or a long Sapphire Coast wander. This shortlist favours parks whose operators list designated EV charging, then shows how to build the public charging plan around your own vehicle and towing load. Charger access and site availability can change, so confirm both with the park before you book.

For a shorter Sydney escape, base yourself around Jervis Bay or Batemans Bay. To make the charging stop part of a longer holiday, keep going south towards Bermagui and Eden. Each extra coastal detour adds distance and local driving, so enter the actual campground address into your EV's route planner before setting the day's plan.
A designated EV charger at the park is useful destination charging while you are staying. It is not a substitute for a compatible fast charger on the way down, and a powered caravan site does not automatically include permission or equipment to charge a car.
Ask whether a charging bay can be booked or is first come, first served
Confirm plug type, price, access hours and whether the bay can accommodate your car
Check live public charger status before leaving the last regional fast charger

Three South Coast stays with published EV charging
Reflections lists designated guest chargers at Eden and Bermagui. Its NSW network is reported as 7 kW Type 2 destination charging, for paying guests. NRMA also lists destination chargers at Murramarang Beachfront and Merimbula Beach; ask which cabin or communal charger arrangement applies to your exact booking. These are measured, operator-published signals, not a ranking or a guarantee of a free bay.
From Sydney, use the NSW charging map and your vehicle planner to choose an appropriate corridor stop before turning off the highway for a coastal park. Berry, the Shoalhaven and the Batemans Bay area can be useful planning points depending on your route and vehicle, but confirm compatible equipment and live availability. For a multi-night stay around Bermagui or Eden, check the next outbound charger before you arrive rather than leaving the return plan until checkout.
If towing, account for the caravan's effect on energy use, charger-bay access and the space needed to unhitch. Keep an alternate public charging option in your app for every regional leg.

Caravan safety
Use designated equipment only
Reflections says EVs may be charged only at its designated EV stations and that charging from campsites or roofed accommodation is not permitted. Follow the same careful approach at every park: ask for written charging instructions, use the approved station, and never improvise with an extension lead, power board or ordinary caravan outlet.

EV charging
Designated guest EV station; published network is 7 kW Type 2. Confirm current access, fee and bay availability with the park.
Do not assume so. Use a designated EV charger and follow the specific park's written rules. Reflections explicitly prohibits charging from campsites and roofed accommodation.
Are holiday-park EV chargers fast chargers?
The Reflections NSW destination stations are published as 7 kW Type 2 AC chargers. That is overnight or longer-stay charging, not a highway fast-charge stop.
