Editorial approach

Clear sources. Clear limits.

EVITAL publishes Australian electric-vehicle ownership and factual insurance information. Our guides help readers identify questions and primary sources for their own research.

Sources and model identification

For specifications and warranty terms, we prioritise Australian manufacturer documentation. We distinguish model year, grade, drivetrain and test cycle where the source provides them. Range and peak charging figures are not guarantees of real-world performance.

Review dates and corrections

A review date identifies when the cited material was checked; it does not mean every linked manufacturer page will remain unchanged. Older content retains its own date. To report an error, use our Contact page and include the page URL, the disputed statement and a primary source.

Authorship and evidence

EVITAL content is attributed to the organisation unless a named author is explicitly identified. Source-based guides are not hands-on road tests. We do not imply that an unnamed mechanic, engineer or licensed financial adviser has reviewed a guide.

Insurance information

EVITAL currently provides factual information only. We do not provide an insurance quote or recommend a policy. Cover depends on the insurer and current policy documents, including exclusions, limits, excesses and eligibility.

Images and comparisons

Images include source and licensing information. When a verified Australian model photograph is unavailable, a contextual image is labelled accordingly. Comparisons explain documented differences without declaring a universal winner.
