EV OWNERSHIP / ACCESSORIES

The right accessories.
For your actual EV.

Start with fitment and usefulness, not a longer shopping list. Use this checklist to brief a seller and compare an accessory before buying.

01

Start with exact fitment

Record the vehicle make, model, variant, model year and Australian right-hand-drive specification. Ask the seller to confirm compatibility in writing rather than relying on a generic model name or an overseas photograph.

02

Prioritise the job it needs to do

Separate daily essentials from optional extras. For mats and cargo protection, check retention and access; for storage, check dimensions and visibility; for travel equipment, check the vehicle manufacturer's permitted use. Do not assume a bundled accessory is necessary.

03

Treat charging as a compatibility decision

Use the vehicle manufacturer's guidance for charging equipment. Have fixed electrical installation and suitability assessed by a qualified electrician. This guide is not an installation manual and does not certify any charger, adapter or cable.

04

Compare the complete purchase

Record the delivered price, what is included, the seller's contact details, written warranty and return terms, and who handles a fitment problem. Keep product descriptions and your compatibility confirmation with the receipt.

Your seller brief

“My vehicle is [make, model, variant and model year], Australian right-hand drive. I need the accessory for [purpose]. Please confirm exact fitment, what is included, the delivered price and the process if it does not fit.”

For safety-critical or electrical equipment, use the vehicle documentation and qualified professional advice rather than a seller brief alone.
